AI Capability · Reskilling · Workflow Redesign

I move people from AI awareness to redesigned work.

Enterprise AI capability leader. I design and run multi-stage programs that take managers and teams from awareness to structured experimentation to workflow redesign, and I measure the change in the work itself, not just adoption rates.

How I work

Three convictions I bring to every program.

These show up whether I'm reskilling an operations team, running a design sprint for executives, or writing the measurement framework a CEO will see. They're how I lead, not what I sell.

01

Build capability with people, not for them.

Programs stick when the people doing the work build the system themselves, with support. I design for ownership from day one, because capability that's done to people fails, and capability people shaped tends to hold.

02

Measure the change in the work, not the slides.

Adoption rates and completion certificates are vanity metrics. I measure what actually changed in the work: time reclaimed, decisions made faster, tasks redesigned around the human-AI boundary. That's the only measurement a CEO or funder cares about, and it's the only one worth doing.

03

Design for the whole person, not just the role.

Managers, operators, educators, they're not just adopters of a tool. They're people with judgment, context, and constraints. My learning design starts from that assumption, which is why participants describe the work as joyful and rigorous rather than training they endured.

Core competencies

What I bring to an enterprise mandate.

Six capabilities that compound. Program design and org design travel together; measurement makes both durable; facilitation and infrastructure let the work scale beyond me.

01

Capability program design

Multi-stage AI fluency programs, awareness, experimentation, use-case discovery, workflow redesign, deployment, with stage gates and rubric-based artifact review.

02

Workflow & org design

Task unbundling (automate, augment, keep human); role and decision-rights design using RACI and RAPID; operating models, trigger-based staffing, systems thinking.

03

Facilitation & coaching

Workshops and multi-day design sprints for 40 to 120 participants. Coaching executives, managers, and frontline staff, comfortable being the person in the room.

04

Measurement

Pre/post capability surveys, time-on-task baselines, adoption and retention thresholds, bias and accuracy testing, executive and funder reporting.

05

Hands-on AI fluency

Claude (Projects, Skills, Code), ChatGPT, Gemini, Playlab, NotebookLM. Prompt engineering, agentic workflow architecture, AI-assisted analysis.

06

Scaling infrastructure

Champion and peer-learning networks, playbooks, reusable templates, and Claude-based agents that run program operations, so programs scale past direct engagement.

The path here

Seventeen years following one question.

How do we make capability stick for the people the system misses? The audience changed. The scale changed. The question didn't.

Impact at scale

Programs I designed and led, and what moved.

Each was a multi-month engagement I conceived, structured, facilitated, and measured. Metrics are drawn from pre/post capability data, pilot evaluations, and shipped artifacts, not completion rates or satisfaction scores.

Internal reskilling · 7 ops functions

Operations AI Accelerator

Program lead · Design + facilitation + measurement

A 3-month internal reskilling program for Finance, HR Services, Talent, IT, Org Effectiveness, Internal Comms, and Program Operations. Each team unbundled a workflow, built an AI prototype, ran a 2-week baseline-and-impact pilot, and presented results org-wide.

Economic Mobility AI Accelerator I

Program lead · 12-week cohort, 18 workforce nonprofits

Co-funded by Salesforce, Anthropic, Crankstart, and Tipping Point. 100% of organizations shipped a working AI tool. Strongest pilots cut case-note time 83% and reached 100% voluntary staff adoption by week 2.

Agentic AI · Scaled model

Economic Mobility AI Accelerator II

Program lead · 16-week agentic AI program, 20 orgs

Scaled the model to 20 workforce nonprofits serving ~600,000 workers, funded by Google.org and Tipping Point, with Anthropic engineers as technical partners. Designed a 7-artifact chain with 2 hard gates, every tool deployed with a named owner, cost line, expansion and kill criteria.

K–12 · 7 rural school systems

RAISE National AI Collaborative

Program lead · Design + facilitation + measurement

AI capability building for 7 rural school systems across 2 states. 85% of participants reported time saved; 70% had untrained peers asking to join. One district measured 18% higher student curiosity than a control group.

School Teams AI Collaborative

Program lead · One-year program, 80+ leaders & educators

One-year AI capability program with 19 schools in 10 systems, including Denver Public Schools, Boston Public Schools, and DCPS. Teams ran two redesign-and-pilot cycles with structured coaching, then turned their practices into reusable strategy cards, a resource hub, and a published field report.

Schusterman Overdeck AI Accelerator

Program lead · Cohort + 6-month follow-up study

A cohort for 22 education and criminal justice nonprofits, with a six-month follow-up study tracking whether tools moved from experiment to standard practice, not whether a demo day looked good.

A small window into how I think

How ready is your team for AI, really?

Ten questions, two minutes. You'll get a 0 to 100 readiness score, a breakdown across the five dimensions that determine whether AI adoption sticks, and a short personalized read. It's the same instrument I use with cohorts.

01 · Leadership & Strategy
Does your organization have a stated position on how AI supports its mission?
02 · Leadership & Strategy
If a funder or board member asked tomorrow how you're using AI responsibly, could you answer?
03 · Team Capability
How many people on your team use AI tools in their actual work each week?
04 · Team Capability
If you asked three staff members what AI is good and bad at, how similar would their answers be?
05 · Responsible Use
Does your team have guidance on what data can and can't go into AI tools?
06 · Responsible Use
How confident are you that AI use at your org protects the people you serve?
07 · Workflow Integration
Is AI part of any regular workflow, like reporting, communications, or planning?
08 · Workflow Integration
When someone finds an AI approach that works, what happens next?
09 · Culture & Momentum
How does your team generally feel about AI right now?
10 · Culture & Momentum
Do people have real permission (time, encouragement, air cover) to experiment?
